Last updated: October 2025. These Terms & Conditions govern membership and use of services at VULKX Jiu-Jitsu Club, Battersea, London.
Memberships are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically unless cancelled. Fees are processed securely through our billing provider. Membership types, prices, and benefits may change with notice. Founding Member benefits apply only to those who joined under the original offer. Memberships are personal, non-transferable, and non-refundable unless required by law.
Standard cancellation notice is 30 days unless otherwise stated in a specific contract. Pauses may be granted at our discretion. Missed classes are not refunded or credited. Refunds are issued only where legally required or expressly stated in writing.
Classes must be booked in advance. Entry may be refused if late or unsafe. We may modify class times, instructors, and schedules at any time. Cancellations of classes due to unforeseen circumstances will be communicated where possible.
Members must behave respectfully at all times. Unsafe, aggressive, or discriminatory behaviour may result in suspension or termination. Members must disclose medical conditions and follow all safety instructions. You acknowledge that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu carries inherent risk.
Members must keep training areas clean. VULKX is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings. Children must be supervised outside scheduled kids' classes.
You accept the inherent risks of martial arts training. To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, you release VULKX and its staff from liability for injuries or losses except where caused by negligence. Participants under 18 require parental consent.
The programme offers discounted rates to eligible groups (NHS, teachers, emergency services, veterans, Nuffield members, students). Proof of eligibility is required. Discounts apply only to selected full-price memberships and cannot be combined with other offers.
